Originally an old rural farm house belonging to a wealthy landlord, this was part of a farm called Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso (Our Lady of Good Success). Very charming – the chapel still exists next door! – and great for dinner upstairs in the restaurant dining room or snacks in the bar/café on the ground floor. The restaurant serves a variety of portuguese and international dishes, including options for vegetarians.

One of the recommended stops for trying out Porto’s infamous “Francesinha”. They claim to have the best one in town! If you’re a meat-eater you must try this Portuguese “croque-monsieur” with Portuguese sausate, ham, cheese and a spicy sauce.

But you can also find all other types of meals – from steak, codfish, seafood or pasta dishes to just light snacks or soup. And a big plus – this restaurant is open until 2:00 AM! (though we’ll assume you’ll still be on the dance floor at that time!)

This is hands down the best vegetarian buffet around. The food is so varied in tastes, colours, textures. Not only do they worry about serving quality food, but also making the presentation look fabulous. Eat until you’re stuffed – with so many options in the buffet, that won’t be hard. A great place for vegans too! Natural juices and a great variety of teas are also on the menu!
