General Terms and Conditions for the attendees
of Atlantic Blues 2017
01. GENERAL TERMS
The general terms and conditions for the attendees of Atlantic Blues 2017, organized by Swing Station Unipessoal Lda, are the essential and binding part of the contract-registration between Swing Station Unipessoal Lda and the individual who registered to Atlantic Blues 2017. If you do not agree to this document during registration (and thus do not agree with the terms) you will not be able to attend the festival.
02. PAYMENT TERMS
By registering for Atlantic Blues 2017 each individual is expected to pay the adequate fee within one week (7 days) of registering or will be cancelled to make room for other participants. The registration fee must be paid in its entirety before the festival, according to the price in effect on that day. The attendee is responsible for all bank transfer fees.
03. CANCELLATION TERMS
For cancellations Swing Station will return the fee according to the following scheme:
– for all cancellations before 10th December 2016 we will reimburse 50% of the paid fee.
– for all cancellations between 11th December 2016 and 10th January 2017 we will reimburse 25% of the paid fee.
– for all cancellations after 10th January 2017 we will reimburse 0% of the paid fee.
* If a signed doctor’s note is presented with cancellation (regardless of the date) we will reimburse 75% of the paid fee; keeping a 25% admin fee.
** If you register as a couple and one of you must cancel, the other will have to either find a new partner to take their place or make a new single registration, and may be put on the wait list.**
04. PROGRAMME CHANGES
Swing Station Unipessoal Lda reserves the right to change the time, location and price of the workshops and of the evening dances and communicate any changes on the website.
05. INJURIES AND THEFTS
Swing Station Unipessoal Lda will not be held responsible for any physical injuries, or damages to / thefts of private property that might occur during Atlantic Blues 2017.
06. CODE OF CONDUCT
By signing this document the attendee is bound to behave in accordance with the general rules of conduct and with the existing Portuguese laws – all while respecting the house rules. In case of misdemeanor you will be in the jurisdiction of the Polícia de Segurança Pública.
07. VALID LAW AND JURISDICATION
The Tribunal de Comarca do Porto is competent for all disputes between the clients according to the Portuguese law.
08. SIGNATURE or AGREEMENT TO GENERAL CONDITIONS
By clicking on the Terms and Conditions for the attendees of Atlantic Blues 2017 on the registration page via internet you state that you fully agree with the content of this document and will obey all the rules and regulations, in effect signing this document.
